A graduate from the highly esteemed Chippendale School near Gifford, East Lothian, Andy Boswell has a passion for all things retro. His pieces are inspired by mid-century modern design, featuring simple, pleasing lines which fit nicely into many homes and interiors.

Andy works from the Graduate Studios at Chippendale, surrounded by fellow craftsmen and women. This creative environment has allowed him to produce some of his most high quality and expertly engineered projects to date.

With a background in metalwork, Andy is able to work in many different mediums. His projects frequently incorporate highly complicated structural or mechanical elements. He is especially proficient in chair spring systems, with his “Split” lounge chair being declared the “Most Comfortable” of the chairs produced at The Chippendale School that year.
